Why People Would Leave Their Bank

Bank accounts - we all have one - but, unlike electricity or internet, not many of us give much thought to switching to a different service provider. A recent survey by Genpact though, has revealed the reasons which would be most likely to push consumers towards making a change. Top of the list is fraud incidents being handled badly, with 55 percent of respondents saying this could cause them to find a new bank. Interestingly, almost one third also said that a poor digital service might also drive them over the edge. With online banking becoming the norm for most, the issue of not having enough local branches was ranked lower, with only 22 percent saying this would be a deciding factor for them.
