Statista Survey

Easter 2018 in the UK

This year's Statista Survey on Easter has revealed a lot about how the UK sees and celebrates the festival in 2018. While 75 percent say that they will celebrate, as with most Christian festivals nowadays, the religious aspect is not the most important aspect for the majority of people. According to our survey, only 25 percent plan on attending church. Far more popular are set to be egg hunts (43 percent) and the eating of hot cross buns (56 percent). Indeed, when asked what the most important thing about Easter is, only 18 percent cited the religious meaning - compared to 43 percent saying they value the family coming together most highly.
