The richest people in the UK

The fifteen richest UK citizens have a combined wealth of £86 billion but there's a fair chance you've never heard of most of them. With the high-profile examples of James Dyson, Richard Branson and Philip Green, most of the UK's billionaires tend to fly under the public radar.

At the top of the list is the Hinduja family. Consisting of four siblings, the family control the multinational conglomerate the Hinduja Group. According to Forbes' 2018 list of billionaires, the family's net worth of £14.1 billion comes from a wide range of businesses including trucks, lubricants, banking and cable TV.
