Europe's Biggest Foreign-Born Communities

According to the most recent census which was conducted in 2011, the European Union's 20 largest foreign-born communities number 18.5 million residents, equivalent to 3.7 percent of the total EU-28 population. Morocco is the largest foreign-born community in the EU with 2.3 million people, according to Eurostat. The largest Moroccon population can be found in France, though Belgium's accounts for a higher share of the population. Turkey has the second largest foreign-born population in the EU with 2.08 million followed by Russia with 1.81 million.
