Up a Notch for Dodgers or First Time Win for Astros?
In US sport, there is only one question this week: will it be the Astros or Dodgers winning the 2017 Major League Baseball World Series? After Game 5 it is a 3:2 lead for the Astros, carrying the team yet a little closer towards what would be a historic triumph - their first ever title win.
With no World Series being played out in 1904 and none in 1994 (due to the players' strike of that year) our infographic shows the 112 champions of the World Series Finals in Major League Baseball history. So will it be a first time win for the Houston Astros or up a notch in the table for the Dodgers, securing their seventh World Series Title (the first since 1988) - if you count in the Brooklyn Dodgers success from 1955? We will know by Wednesday at the latest.
