German unity?
Germany is celebrating 27 years of unification. Since that historic night when the Berlin wall came crumbling down, however, only half of German citizens think that the east and west have grown to become one nation. That's according to a survey conducted by the Forsa research institute and the Federal Foundation. They also found that Germans living in the west are more enthusiastic about the nation's unity while those in the east are less so. Despite that, however, the youngest wave of Germans are far more likely to say the country is unified. Read more in TheLocal.de.
