Disneyland is the Most Instagrammed American Attraction
Disneyland in California is the most instagrammed tourist attraction in the United States. According to online tourism portal TravelBird, 14.6 million hashtags make it the number one spot. Florida has two well-instagrammed destinations: Walt Disney World and South Beach.
There's a little generational bias in this data because, "Instagram is a barometer of where Millennials are travelling", as the source points out. 55 percent of Instagram users are 18 to 29 years old. The overall ranking considers the top two destinations in each U.S. state. Wrongly spelt hashtagged destinations were not taken into account.
