Technological advances

That's so 2005!

The technology that shapes our day-to-day lives continues to evolve. Many things that seemed impossible ten years ago, such as streaming an HD movie to your phone using a wireless network, are now perfectly normal and things won’t stop here. Ten years from now, we’ll probably be shaking our heads at the thought of how ancient our iPhone 7 looks in retrospect.

Maybe smartphones have long been replaced by another class of devices in ten years’ time, in a similar manner to how smartphones themselves replaced many devices. A recent survey conducted on behalf of Bank of America reveals how many Americans still use “retro” devices that are supposedly outdated. Hands up who still uses a calculator!
