American Muslims Concerned About Islamist Extremism

Many people in the United States are worried about extremism in the name of Islam. According to surveys by the Pew Research Center, 83 percent of Americans are very or somewhat worried about Islamist extremism. This is also the case among U.S. Muslims. However, more American Muslims are very worried compared to the general public, 66 to 49 percent respectively.
