Steep decline in drink driving convictions

There has been a drastic drop in the number of recorded instances of drink driving in Ireland over the last ten years. Convictions have also fallen accordingly. From 2007 to 2016 there was a 64 percent decrease in recorded crimes and an even larger 76 percent for convictions.
