When it comes to startups, the German capital is booming. Venture capital investments in Berlin hit a record level of €1.49 billion in the first half of 2017, according to EY. That's a 178 percent increase on the first half of last year, when the capital brought in €531 of investment. Berlin is unrivalled as a startup hub in Germany with Bavaria, Hamburg and Baden Württemburg all trailing it in investment. Read more in TheLocal.de.
