The World's Most Valuable Sports Teams

The NFL's Dallas Cowboys continue to reign supreme as the most valuable sports team in the world, according to a recent ranking by Forbes. The publication put the team's value at $8 billion in 2022. The NFL is the most profitable league on the planet and the top 10 of the ranking reflects that, featuring six NFL teams, among them the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams in ranks 2 and 3.

Three NBA and one MLB teams also make the top 10. This year, no soccer teams managed this feat as Real Madrid moved down into rank 13, ahead of Barcelona in rank 15. Despite the ranking makers also looking at the Indian Premier League (cricket) and the National Hockey League, no team made the top 50.
