To put it mildly: Trump doesn't seem to be the most admired of all American Presidents. The way he acts, that probably doesn't bother him at all – he still won the election, he might think.
Perhaps being reasonably pleasant and even headed are character traits that aren't fashionable anymore or a politician shouldn't bother about that sort of minor matters anyway. Politics is one of the dirtiest games, so why not drop the pretense, some voters might have reasoned when voting for Trump last November.
A survey by Quinnipiac University paints a pretty devastating picture of how Americans perceive their President. As our infographic shows, Trump gets the worst mark for being a strong person. Almost 60 percent think he lacks honesty. Many question his leadership skills and doubt Trump really cares about the average American. The returns on Trump's perceived intelligence probably only add insult to injury.
Trump's hardcore fan base will probably argue that polls like these are 'fake news' anyway. And those who oppose him will tell you they knew all along.
