How German is Deutsche?
Banking & Investment
The biggest German bank in international finance is Deutsche Bank. While trying to navigate troubled waters Deutsche has attracted a new investor from China. The Hainan Jiaoguan Holding has bought a 3.04 percent stake, which is a big enough share for the bank to have to list the investor on its internet page. Biggest foreign shareholder still is American investor BlackRock. As of 2015, which is the latest data published by the Deutsche Bank, the biggest share of the institute’s capital remains in German hands.
