Apple's App Store: A Success Story

Apple announced on Monday that more than 40 billion apps have been downloaded from their App Store so far, with nearly 20 billion in 2012 alone. Currently, 775,000 apps are available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The consumer can choose among diverse categories ranging from games or social networks to newsreaders and utilities.
