Clinton vs. Trump: A Case of The Lesser Of Two Evils?
TV Debate
Trump and Clinton are two of the most disliked presidential candidates the United States has ever seen. With 65 percent and 55 percent of American adults holding an unfavorable view of the two hopefuls respectively, many are now comparing this election to a case of the lesser of two evils. Indeed, according to a Gallup poll, the top reason for 28 percent of voters to support their chosen candidate this year is that they have such a negative view of the other. No wonder then, that the share of people that believe their country needs a third major party has risen from 46 percent in 2012 to a majority 57 percent in 2016.
