The Independent recently asked Statista to compile an infographic on the countries worldwide where the majority of Muslims are in favour of introducing sharia law. Using Pew Research Center data, it shows that countries where Islam is already favoured in law, like Afghanistan and Iraq, have the strongest backing for making sharia the official law of the land.
