U.S. politicians garnered little support from American respondents in a new survey by Statista, conducted earlier this month. U.S. President Joe Biden received the greatest backing, with 32 percent of respondents saying that they think he is doing a good job. Former president Donald Trump came close behind with 29 percent.
When looking at the two politicians' respective parties' voter bases, they fared a little better. 56 percent of Democrat voters said Biden was doing a good job versus only 6 percent of Republicans, while Trump saw 20 percent of support from Democrats and 53 percent from Republicans.
Out of the 20 polled politicians, Marjorie Taylor Greene ranked among the lowest with only 7 percent of respondents saying that they think she is doing a good job in her role. Meanwhile, Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, who announced in February that she will be running for president in 2024, received 9 percent.
