A new Statista survey in the UK reveals the changes people are making to abide by the current rules while protecting their health and that of their loved ones. At 37.5 percent, the most popular change was to celebrate in a smaller circle than usual. In the build up to the 25th, 30 percent also said they will be avoiding physical shops and shifting their gift buying online.
Despite the exceptional circumstances, only 16.9 percent said they aren't getting into the Christmas spirit and there appears to be a general acceptance of the necessity of the changes - only 12 percent of respondents said they think there should be no Covid-related restrictions during the Christmas period.
