Donald Trump Jr. is pulling an extraordinary stunt in his new book “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us”. He is slamming media organizations like The New York Times or The Washington Post for pushing “fake news” and being “biased”, while simultaneously using the same publications to back up other points that he is legitimately trying to make.
This is according to an investigation by Newsweek, who analyzed the book’s endnotes and found a total of 30 references to so-called “mainstream media sources” that were included in order to prove legitimate points. Most references were to The New York Times and The Washington Post. NPR, which is described in Trump Jr.’s book as “failing three-letter liberal news stations”, also received one mention as a legitimate source.
