Britain's best-value beach holiday destinations
Beach Resorts
Despite the chaos and uncertainty that is Brexit, many Britons are refusing to let politics influence their holiday plans. Post office UK's 2019 Holiday Costs Barometer looked into the costs of beach holidays by analysing the price of nine key staples - a cup of coffee, coke, beer or wine in a bar as well as the cost of a bottle of water, suncream, insect repellent, lunch and an evening meal. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria emerged as the cheapest destination with the cost of those items averaging £38.97, while the Algarve in Portugal came second with £54.45.
