Despite the chaos and uncertainty that is Brexit, many Britons are refusing to let politics influence their holiday plans. Given the uncertainty, however, a few might be planning their exotic beach trips with a limited budget. That begs the question: where are Europe's best-value beach resorts for British holidaymakers?
Post office UK's 2019 Holiday Costs Barometer looked into the costs of beach holidays by analysing the price of nine key staples - a cup of coffee, coke, beer or wine in a bar as well as the cost of a bottle of water, suncream, insect repellent, lunch and an evening meal. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria emerged as the cheapest destination with the cost of those items averaging £38.97, while the Algarve in Portugal came second with £54.45.
