Global negative experiences hit a new decade high. This is the highest negative score registered since polling began in 2005.
Gallup surveyed 154,000 people from over 145 countries and found that a little under a third had experienced at least five stressful or painful experiences within the past day. The Central African Republic replaced Iraq as the most negative country, with over three quarters of residents saying they experienced physical pain and worry the day prior. The Central African Republic has over 600,000 internally displaced people since fighting began between Christians and Muslims.
