Drug Use Among Irish Students

In recent years, the number of people taking illicit drugs in Ireland has steadily increased. According to data from the most recent Drugs Ireland publication, however, the substances consumed have not changed much. The following infographic shows that cannabis is the most common illicit drug consumed by Irish students with 19 percent of 15 to 16-year old students saying they have tried it. It is followed by inhalants with 10 percent of students saying they have ever tried it with other illicit drugs following with 8 percent.
