E-Car Charging Infrastructure Becoming Mainstream
E-Mobility
Even though there are still some questions concerning sustainability left open, e-vehicles are on the rise everywhere in the world. But with more than three million pluggable cars on the streets worldwide and many more to come in future years, we should not fall short in supplying enough sockets to load our future means of transportation. As this chart shows, the number of loading stations is ramping up quickly. According to an estimation of car manufacturer Nissan, charging sockets will outnumber petrol stations in the UK by 2020. But if e-mobility shall be the solution to sustainable and emission-free mobility, the number of electric vehicles on our streets needs to scale up at the same speed.
