It's been an exciting week in the United Kingdom amid the arrival of the royal baby. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have named their third child Louis Arthur Charles, a choice of name that many observers will find surprising. Even though the name does not have a strong royal pedigree, it was the name of Lord Mountbatten of Burma who was the uncle of Prince Philip. He was killed in 1979 when the IRA placed a bomb on his fishing boat.
Louis Arthur Charles weighed eight pounds and seven ounces (3.8kg) when he arrived on Monday and the new prince comes fifth in line to the throne. The baby can certainly expect some gifts. His brother George received 706 gifts in total after his birth including 249 toys, 138 items of clothing, 25 sports articles and 11 household articles.
