In terms of media usage, China is becoming a modern nation at a very quick pace. This is indicated by a statistic released in the recent presentation “Internet Trends”, by Marry Meekers and Liang Wu.
The chart indicates that mobile is far more popular in China than the United States. 22 percent of time spent using media in the People’s Republic is dedicated to the mobile web. Additionally, the Chinese are also ahead of the U.S. in terms of internet usage.
Contrastingly, Americans remain fond of classic media like TV and Radio, 42 percent of their media usage time is dedicated to TV.
