The Biggest Threats Facing the World in 2017
New Global Survey
Despite major setbacks to the so-called Islamic State in recent months, the results of a new global survey by Pew Research Center show that the terror group is still considered the biggest threat in the world. A median 62 percent of respondents from the 28 countries said that 'ISIS' is a major threat to their country. Other common threats were climate change (61 percent), cyberattacks from other nation states (51 percent) and the condition of the global economy (51 percent).
