The eight season of HBO fantasy drama Game Of Thrones is well underway but it is still unclear who will ascend the Iron Throne and rule the seven kingdoms of Westeros. As anticipation reaches fever pitch, who would U.S. viewers choose for the Iron Throne if they had a say? A new poll from Ipsos has found that 36 percent of Americans would support Jon Snow if an election was held tomorrow. Daenerys Targaryen who was once a close second behind the Starks' bastard boy, with 24 percent of last season's votes, is now at only 12 percent. The same share of viewers would love to see Arya Stark rule in King's Landing.
