Chief of Staff to the CTO (m/f/d)

What you do
- Coordinate and facilitate portfolio steering of product development initiatives together with product and engineering leads, including OKR planning and review routines, resolution of dependencies, progress tracking and impact measurement
- Support CTO with planning and preparing communication routines and required presentations/documents
- Steer Tech budget planning and forecasting (personnel, freelancer, hosting, software licenses, equipment)
- Coordinate execution of strategic Tech initiatives
- Continuous improvement and facilitation of tech-internal management processes (people management, Tech KPI, knowledge management)
- Shadow the CTO in management routines
- Act as thought partner for better decision-making and executor of one-off tasks that need to get done
- Report to the CTO, disciplinary leadership of 1-2 program managers
- Hybrid work: 3–4 days in the office (Hamburg), 1-2 days a week remote
Who you are
- Excellent university degree in business, economics or related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience in agile tech organizations, including close collaboration with senior executives from Product and Tech
- Tech enthusiast with broad general understanding of tech management practices, hands-on experience in operations/devops/engineering is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills (storylining, chart design, presentation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outgoing and approachable character, building strong relationships throughout the organization
- Strong leadership skill and will, seeing opportunities and addressing them proactively
- Well-organized, capable of handling multiple tasks reliably
