What you do
- Help your team to establish a quality first mindset and foster the shift-left approach in your team
- Guide your team to always factor in quality in all stages of the product development process, from conception to delivery
- Pair program with your engineering peers, providing a QA perspective
- Drive improvement of the product development process in terms of quality aspects
- Provide guidance to your team in what to test how
- Guide engineering peers in setting up and implementation of tests, partly writing tests yourself
Who you are
- It should be easy for you to understand code, independent of specific programming languages it is written in
- Interest in and understanding of software architecture, software patterns and striving for high software quality
- Knowledge of software testing techniques and test automation
- Knowledge of testing frameworks, like e.g. Cypress
- Strong attention to quality and detail, as well as understanding of business processes
- Very good organizational and communication skills as well as an independent and responsible way of working
- Very good knowledge of English, a good knowledge of German is an advantage
