Brazil: GDP energy intensity

In 2021, Brazil's final energy consumption amounted to 0.84 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per million U.S. dollars of GDP. This represents a small decrease compared to previous year. In 2019, figures reached the lowest energy intensity reported in the South American country since 2013, despite an overall upward trend throughout the past decade.
