E-commerce transaction value share in Latin America 2023-2027, payment method
In 2023, credit cards represented more than a third of the e-commerce transaction value in Latin America. However, forecasts indicates a growing consumer preference for alternative, convenient, and secure online payment methods beyond traditional credit cards. By 2027, digital wallets are projected to account for 28 percent of e-commerce transaction value, with A2A payments reaching 29 percent.
