Importance of electronic monographs at academic libraries in the U.S. 2010-2016
This statistic shows the responses of academic library deans and directors in the United States on the importance of electronic monographs to the research and teaching of faculty members from 2010 to 2016, by institution type. In 2016, 22 percent of respondents at Baccalaureate degree granting institutions strongly agreed that electronic monographs were important to faculty members. Monographs are specialist works of writing on one topic, often by a single author.
