Telefonica: mobile customers in Germany 2013-2019

This statistic shows the mobile customer development of Telefonica in Germany from 2013 to 2019. At the end of 2019, there was a total of 43.8 million Telefonica customers in Germany. The total number of customers is comprised of both prepaid and contract customers. The giant leap that was made from 2013 to 2014 is due to Telefonica purchasing the mobile network operator E-Plus. This has been one of the largest mergers ever to occur in the telecommunications industry in Germany.
