Moscow-based and one of the largest Russian online apparel retailers, Lamoda, operative since 2011, accounted for an online sales value of 119.3 billion Russian rubles in 2023. The enterprise also ranked in the first place nationwide based on number of orders in that year.

Wildberries has been the Russian e-commerce market leader by sales value year-over-year. The online retailer reported nearly doubled sales in 2023, at over 2143.7 billion Russian rubles. Ozon, which provides services for goods selection and purchasing, was the fastest-growing online marketplace among the top-100 in 2023.

The Russian e-commerce market is expanding year-over-year. In 2022, the market value was measured at 5.8 trillion Russian rubles, marking an about 40-percent growth relative to the previous year, while the e-commerce penetration rate exceeded 52 percent in 2021.
