Content marketing the way to go to reach new audiences
81 percent of B2B online marketers in the Netherlands in 2018 said they already used content marketing to get new leads. An additional nine percent indicated they would start using this in 2019. Webinars and webcasting, however, were not popular tools for this: roughly 60 percent of marketers who use online video in 2018 indicated they never used either webinars or webcasting.
E-mail marketing also used often
Another popular B2B marketing method in the Netherlands is e-mail marketing. Marketing e-mails in the Netherlands had an open rate of around 43 percent, the second highest in Europe. Roughly 53 percent of Dutch people signed up to at least one or up to five e-mail newsletters.
