The turnover of the information sector in the Netherlands increased by 5.4 billion euros (+46.3 percent) in 2021 in comparison to the previous year. With 17 billion euros, the turnover thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
