Central & South America: hydropower consumption 2009-2019
In 2019, the hydropower consumption in Central and South America amounted to 6.37 exajoules, down from 6.43 exajoules a year earlier. That year, hydropower consumption in Brazil accounted for more than half of the region's demand.
