The production of fluids secreted by the sweat glands is referred to as perspiration. Sweat, which is composed of mostly water, minerals, lactate and urea, allows the body to regulate its temperature. For the most part, human perspiration is odorless. Dove's popularity 

The underarm or armpit is one of the most consistently warm areas on the body. Deodorant, classified as cosmetics and regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), have been designed to prevent odors from these particular sweat glands. The most known deodorant brand in the United States in 2024 was also Dove, as stated by around 90 percent of consumers participating in a recent survey.

Unilever

Both Dove and Degree brands are owned by the multinational consumer goods company: Unilever. In 2021, Unilever was the leading deodorant vendor in the United States; generating sales of over 1.5 billion U.S. dollars. As of 2023, the company recorded a revenue of nearly 60 billion euros.
