Share of U.S. adults aware of the term podcasting 2006-2024
A study released in early 2024 revealed that 84 percent of U.S. consumers aged 12 years or above are aware of podcasting, up by more than 30 percent from a decade ago. Podcasts have been growing in popularity for several years and have become widespread in use for educational purposes, storytelling, interviews, building brand awareness, and more.
