A survey from 2022 revealed that two-thirds of Italian Gen Z consumers used social media as a source of inspiration to discover new beauty trends. In turn, only five percent of Baby Boomer consumers did the same. Lastly, 46 percent of millennials tried new trends thanks to social media like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.
