In April 2022, there were about 451 million unique visitors to the video over-the-top (OTT) platform, YouTube, in India. YouTube was primarily an advertisement-driven OTT video platform and had the highest number of unique visitors among other streaming platforms during that period. Trailing by a huge margin, MX Player had the second-highest number of unique visitors in the South Asian market.
