In the fiscal year 2022, South Korea was the leading export destination for Australia's crude oil and refinery feedstocks, with an export value of around 4.26 billion Australian dollars. This represented a rise in the value of Australia's exports to South Korea from FY 2021, with South Korea overtaking Singapore and Thailand as the top market for Australia's crude oil exports.
