According to a 2022 survey among online shoppers in the Asia-Pacific region, social media channels were a popular source of inspiration among shoppers in Thailand, Indonesia, China, Australia, and India. Marketplaces were also leading sources of inspiration for shoppers in Thailand and Indonesia, as 54 percent of the respondents selected it as their source of inspiration in 2022.
