Per capita electricity demand in Iceland 2000-2022
Iceland's electricity demand amounted to 53.65 megawatt-hours per person in 2022. Though this figure marks a decrease compared to the peak of 56 megawatt-hours reached in 2015, it is more than double the per capita demand registered two decades earlier. Iceland registered by far the largest power consumption per capita in Europe.
