Luxury goods renting among HNWI by age 2019
A 2019 survey conducted among 484 high net worth individuals (HNWI) in the United Kingdom, United States, and France revealed that the consumers under 40 were more keen on renting or leasing luxury goods compared to their older counterparts. The most rented or leased luxury goods category for both age groups was designer fashion, with almost a fifth of surveyed HNWI under the age of 40 stating that they have rented or leased goods belonging to this category in 2018.
