In 2019, washing machine purchases accounted for most digitally influenced in-store purchases of consumer durable products in India with a share of 25 percent digitally influenced in-store buyers. 10 percent of digitally influenced buyers purchased washing machines online, but 65 percent of buyers were not digitally influenced. Among water purifiers most buyers were not digitally influenced with a share of more than 80 percent.
