In a 2020 survey about the improvement of online advertising sentiment in Australia, changes to advert content made the biggest impact on consumer sentiment, potentially improving it by 22 percent. The least significant drivers other than external factors were both ad load and ad format, improving online ad sentiment by just eight percent each.
