Chile: telemedicine appointments 2020
Due to the lockdown measures enforced by the Chilean government during the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of remote medical consultations increased exponentially in 2020. Thus, as of August of that year, more than 130 thousand telemedicine appointments had been performed in the South American country, up from the 133 reported as of March 2020. Meanwhile, the number of telemedicine sessions in Colombia added up to nearly 1.5 million in May 2020.
