Poll: sanctions effect on Russian economy by age 2019

The majority of young Russians aged between 18 and 24 years were of the opinion that Western sanctions had a rather negative impact on the economy of their country. Respondents from 45 to 60 years old were more divided on that matter, as approximately 30 percent of them supported each of the views.

* Refers to the total number of survey respondents. The given question was asked only among respondents who believed that the sanctions had an effect on the Russian economy. Due to that, figures do not sum up to 100.

The survey was conducted in 104 municipalities in 53 federal subjects of Russia.
